Luciano Goizueta Fevrier

Friday, September 19 | 9 AM PT / 10 AM MT

Hosted by Hannah Sloan on Instagram.

We’re excited to invite you to a special Instagram Live session with artist Luciano Goizueta Fevrier, where we'll take a tour of his brand-new studio space in San José, Costa Rica.

After a busy year filled with exhibitions—including a solo show at Galería Rebelde in Guatemala City and presentations in San José, Paris, Gothenburg, and London—Luciano is enjoying a rare moment of calm and reflection. In this live session, we’ll see how his new environment influences his creative process, learn about his current explorations in painting, and get a glimpse of what’s inspiring him.

Luciano often centers his painting practice around the space of creation itself—his studio becomes both a subject and a threshold in his work. We’ll explore how his new studio environment is impacting his ongoing projects and the concepts he's delving into.

Luciano shares:

“Now, in this new space in San José, I’ve finally been able to slow down and focus. The studio—both as a place and as a moment in time—has allowed me to explore ideas, colors, and techniques that wouldn’t have been possible under the pressure of upcoming exhibitions.”

/ About

Born in Costa Rica in 1982, Luciano has a background in architecture, music, and graphic arts from the University of Costa Rica. Since 2004, he’s exhibited extensively across Latin America, Europe, and North America—showcasing in galleries and art fairs such as ArtBo in Colombia, MACO in Mexico, PINTA in New York, and SCOPE Basel in Switzerland.

Notable solo exhibitions include Shuffle at Lyle O. Reitzel Gallery (Miami), Pillowbook at Diablo Rosso (Panama), Time is All You Need (Santo Domingo), Lado A – Lado B (Guatemala City), and Metadata (Costa Rica). His work continues to resonate internationally, exploring themes of space, perception, and traces of memory.

This IG Live event is part of HSC&A’s ongoing commitment to connect artists, collectors and art lovers across geographic regions. Our virtual studio tours foster global dialogue, inspire curiosity, and provide viewers with unique insights into the everyday practices and environments that shape contemporary art.
