/ About
Join us at The Reef Art Exhibitions & Open Studios on Saturday, August 30 from 5-8 PM. HSC&A will present a selection of paintings by LA artist Jacqueline Valenzuela, which will complement a concurrent presentation by Craig Krull Gallery, showcasing some of the pioneers of LA Chicana/o art, among them Gronk, Judithe Hernandez and Gilbert "Magu" Lujan.
The Reef Art Exhibitions and Open Studios were conceptualized in an effort to showcase the amazing artists, galleries and creative studios located in the building. Spanning two full floors and home to CalArts, Nazraeli Press, Photographic Arts Council Los Angeles and the Duncan Miller Gallery to name a few, The Reef is a growing hub of the LA Art Scene.
A shared gallery space will serve as the focal points of the evening. This interconnected 16,000 sqft space will feature work from dozens of artists curated by leading L.A. galleries.
