This Saturday, January 17 at 11:00 AM, we invite you to join us at Craig Krull Gallery for the Closing Day of SeXObjects. The morning will feature a series of artist talks and guided walkthroughs across all three exhibitions currently on view, offering a final opportunity to engage deeply with the ideas, artists, and conversations that have shaped this exhibition cycle. Visitors will enjoy:

- A conversation with SeXObjects artists Jean Lowe and Alia Malley, led by curator Hannah Sloan

- A walkthrough of Michael Deyermond: The Mad Chapel, led by the artist

- A walkthrough of Julian Wasser: Pop and Burn, led by Craig Krull

- Plus, a pop-up installation by Devil’s Food Vending, a human-operated vending machine featuring kinky handmade ceramics and art objects that extend SeXObjects’ theme of sex before the internet.

Art Insider calls SeXObjects “Hot Stuff”

In the Art Insider newsletter for KCRW, Carolina Miranda recently reviewed SeXObjects highlighting its wit, cultural insight, and fearless approach to desire.

She notes that SeXObjects takes us back, “to a time in which questions about sexuality couldn’t be quietly searched on the internet. Instead, answers were pieced together through loose copies of Penthouse and furtive encounters in backseats. It was messy and awkward; it could also be thrilling and wild.”
