Photographic Arts Council LA presents: A Picture A Minute, Friday, January 9, 4pm, online only. PAC LA’s signature one-hour live online program returns, continuing its Year of the Woman programming through a deceptively simple structure. Curated and hosted by Hannah Sloan and adapted from an appealing idea by Agnès Varda, each invited participant—artists, collectors, gallerists, curators, and critics like yours truly, SND!—arrives with a single image taken from the entirety of photographic history from its invention to the present day, and has exactly 60 seconds to speak on it, discussing what it means to them personally, and to art history, before the bell tolls.
