Hannah Sloan Curatorial & Advisory

For nearly twenty years, Hannah Sloan has offered in-depth portfolio feedback to artists through organizations like Medium San Diego, LACP, and MFA programs at CalArts and ArtCenter College of Design. These reviews often happen in fast-paced, high-pressure settings that leave little room for depth. This fall, she is carving out time for something different: one-on-one sessions designed to create space for thoughtful presentation, honest dialogue, and real connection in a setting that invites focus, not frenzy.
Office Hours is designed for serious artists seeking thoughtful critique, dialogue, and strategic insight into their professional practice. Whether you’re refining a new body of work, preparing for upcoming opportunities, or navigating the challenges of sustaining momentum, these 70-minute sessions are structured to offer clarity, direction, and perspective.
This review offers a chance to:
/ Receive tailored feedback from an experienced curator & advisor
/ Gain insight into gallery relationships and positioning
/ Discuss potential opportunities, strategy, and the current market
/ Ask questions in a direct and supportive environment

PAC LA / Online Lecture with Fabiola Menchelli
Thursday, September 3
3:00 PM PST
Live on Zoom
Join us for a live online presentation with artist Fabiola Menchelli, hosted by curator and advisor Hannah Sloan.
Menchelli's practice treats photography not as representation, but as experience — working directly with light and photosensitive materials to explore what lies at the edge of visibility. Expect a conversation on perception, materiality, and observation as an intuitive, embodied process.
